Connect with and care for your inner self through the Strolls for Well-Being, an evidence based program that promotes emotional healing and wellness through connection to nature. Further information available at www.brooksidegardens.org/wellness OR to register online starting 2/12/2024, visit ActiveMONTGOMERY.org. Registration Fee $75.

Over the course of eight weeks, participants:

1) Participate in a facilitated group meeting at the beginning, where you will receive an introduction to the program as well as the beautiful full-color, 110-page guided journal that will guide you through your own journey (journals are available in English or Spanish);
2) Complete 12 walks individually over the course of 8 weeks in various areas of Brookside Gardens, with your journal and on your own schedule. Each stroll has its own theme, reflected in the journal with readings and writing prompts;
3) Meet again with your group at the middle and end of the program to share insights and learn about others' experiences;
4) Finish the program with a sense of renewal and an appreciation for the healing power of nature!

Those struggling with difficulty, stress, or transition may particularly benefit. Dates listed are for group meetings at the beginning, middle, and end of the program, where you will receive important information/materials and share insights with other participants (before registering, please be sure that you can commit to attending all three sessions).
